		 Registration is open for the 2007 Institute for
Addictions Treatment, sponsored by the Washington State Division of
Alcohol & Substance Abuse (DASA).  This 3-day conference is intended for
chemical dependency and mental health counselors, social workers,
criminal justice professionals, and others who work with substance
abusing clients and their families.  

		The theme of the conference is: "Partnerships for
Recovery: Meeting the Challenge." 

		Keynote speakers will be: Westley Clark, MD, JD,
Director of SAMHSA's Center for Substance Abuse Treatment, Fred Dyer,
PhD (Dyer Trains), and Joan Zweben, PhD, Executive Director, 14th Stret
Clinic & East Bay Community Recovery Project, Berkeley, CA. 

		Multiple sessions during the 3-day conference will cover
a variety of topics for counselors and others interested in substance
abuse treatment and recovery:

		*	Children, Youth & Family 
		*	Criminal Justice 
		*	Evidence-Based Practices 
		*	Paths to Recovery - Community Support 
		*	Public Health 
		*	Workforce Development

		The conference will be held at the Sheraton Tacoma
Hotel; participants can earn up to 18.75 continuing education hours.
