Help Those with Autism & Other Neurodevelopmental Disorders	

Your help is needed to secure funding for an expansion of diagnostic
services for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
The House budget includes $500,000 to expand and develop a multidisciplinary
assessment team. The funds are designated to go the the Division of Public
Health, Section of Women's Children's and Family Health. The Section would
grant or contract the funds for these services. Information about the
request is attached. 

The Senate budget does not include the $500,000. The difference will be
resolved in the Conference Committee. 

We need you to contact members of the Conference Committee. Please consider
using the attached talking points when you are speaking with or writing to
the Conference Committee members.
