 Hello:

 

I am receiving a large volume of phone calls about the National Provider
Identifier (NPI) from members and Chapters.  The national office has
developed several NPI products for our members which I have listed below as
a reminder.  Please feel free to print them in your media products.  As the
NPI compliance date (May 23) approaches, it is very important that we
continue to inform our members about the NPI which will be required in
standard transactions such as claims, referrals, and payments.
