Hello all,

We hope you will be able to join us this June for the 2007 Summer
Research Training Institute for American Indian and Alaska Native Health
Professionals being held in Portland, OR. The curriculum of the program
is designed to help increase research skills (or build on existing
skills) in the many areas of research, grant writing, and Epidemiology.
Along with the courses that we've offered in the past, some new courses
will be offered, including:  Grant Budget Development & Management,
Research Design & Grant Development, Conducting Focus Groups,
Environmental Epidemiology, Data Analysis with SAS, Database Management
Using STATA and EpiData, and more!

All are welcome to attend. Tuition scholarships are available for
American Indian and Alaska Native Trainees, as are a few travel
scholarships. Please contact Luella Azule ( lazule at npaihb.org ) for more
information regarding the Summer Institute. More info regarding
