Hi all,
I have put out this call to you before regarding two village girls ages 11
and 12 who need clothing for school. Their dad is in prison and has been
for about 8 years - with about 15 to serve. Their mom has some problems and
does not work. They are in tribal foster care with a relative so don't
receive the level of support that OCS provides.
I try to send things to these girls. I sell their dad's pictures and use
that to help take care of them. The girls also try to sell earrings and
their dad's artwork when he can send them pictures.
When school starts, their needs multiply. I just got current sizes - They
can use donations of new and used clothing and school supplies. I can also
accept cash to send to them - made out directly to the girls for certainty
that they'd receive it. Anyone who wishes to do that can call me for names.
The girls are still in "girl" sizes. Thanks much, Sandy Kleven See
