Greetings and Salutations to all

As our days become lighter and longer our political climate also appears to 

be warming up. On the top of the governor's agenda is the big push for a 

natural gas pipeline deal which has had a rippling effect on that that 

passes through the capital doors.

According to NASW legislator monitor Caren Robinson the pace is quick moving


this session so it would behoove us to say focused and on top of what 

interests our organization.

SAC has been following HB 312 (Fetal Alcohol). As the bill first appeared 

there were aspects that NASW could not support. However, according to 

communication I have had with Caren the bill has been significantly 

reworked. It primarily focus is education (yeah, that's the part SAC 

supported) and appears to be a bill we can now all support.

SAC is continuing to meet every Tuesday from 12- 1 pm. Please call in

I would like to thank the following folks who have either participated in 

our meetings, or communicated via e-mail what is happening in there neck of 

the woods. I appreciated the support with SAC .
